This is an authentic replacement part for the Carousel gumball machine line. The function of the 9-point gear wheel for King and Junior AND 6-point gear wheel for Petite, made of plastic, is to turn the adjustable dispensing wheel when the lever on the coin mechanism is turned. The gear wheel can be stripped when gum or candy is gets lodged in the candy wheel.
